Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
The Scone High School Steer Team travelled to the Sydney Royal Easter Show to compete. Student and school success recognised again, as it has been for 25 years of competing at this prestige event.
Year 9 & 10 PASS (Physical Activity and Sports Studies) and our Inclusion Hub students had the opportunity to engage in a Wheelchair Basketball experience to build their knowledge and understanding of inclusive and adaptive sports.
Wellbeing Week at Scone High School saw the Entertainment Industry students run Karaoke each lunch break. Lots of our students participate while others encouraged!
Scone High School was awarded the Angus Shield award for the second consecutive year. An award students are exceptionally proud of, you can see it hanging in our front office!
A team competed in the Hunter PSSA Under 15s Boys Basketball Knockout. They started very strong, defeating Muswellbrook High School 65-6, but lost to Singleton High School in a tense game.
A small, but talented, group of students competed at the Merriwa Interschool Horse Sports. Each student had individual success in the arena over both days of Horse Sports and Show Jumping,
Our Inclusion Hub supports and encourages the independence of our students. Students learn hands on skills and experience the Scone community each week.
"I love the sense of community that my child experiences at Scone High School. I feel like the teachers genuinely know my child.” — a parent of Scone High School.
