Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school event may include:

sports carnivals
open day and school tours
Harmony Week and Book Week events
excursions and incursions
performances, concerts or school productions
fundraising, charity and community events
award assemblies
graduation and other celebrations.

Year 6 Orientation Day

Our final Orientation Day for all Year 6 students going into Year 7 in 2026. Parents and Carers welcome for an information session.

PSSA Open Boys Basketball Knockout

Date: 28/11/2025

Time: 9:30am - 1:34pm

Scone High will be participating in the Upper Hunter Basketball Knockout this Friday. We will be competing against Singleton High and Muswellbrook high.

Year 11 SLR Lawn Bowls

Date: 5/12/25

Time: 9:55am-11:05am

Students from year 11 SLR will be going to the Scone Bowling club to play Lawn bowls.

Year 11 Sydney Excursion

Date: 8/12/25 to 10/12/25

Time: 6:00am

Students in Year 11 are to travel down to Sydney via public transport, where they will engage in a activities and events that students from a regional town have not been able to do.
