Uniform

At Scone High School, the wearing of the full school uniform is considered a key factor in promoting and maintaining a positive school tone and culture.

The school community strongly encourages all students to wear the school uniform for the following reasons:

• It fosters unity among the student body,
• It reflects pride in the school, and
• It helps to minimise social discrimination.

If a student is unable to wear the school uniform on a particular day, a written explanation must be provided to the Deputy Principal on that day. Students who do not wear the correct uniform and fail to provide a note may be excluded from participating in school representation or related activities. The school may provide alternative uniform on the day and students are required to wear this.

For sun protection, students are encouraged to wear predominantly blue hats or caps. However, caps must not be worn inside buildings and should be placed in school bags before classes begin.

Purchasing school uniforms

Uniforms can be purchased at the Uniform Shop located in our Administration Office Monday to Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm.

Parents and Carers with access to School Bytes can order uniforms through the student portal, these can be collected by the student at any time.
